Our History
Maldon Golden Movies began from an idea at the end of 2014 and started screening movies in Maldon from the beginning of 2015.
The original committee included Graham Pitts as President, Nancy Whittaker as Secretary and Ross Hinckley as technical guru and projectionist. All have given many years of service to the society and Ross remains as one of our projectionists in 2025.
As an acknowledgment of their vision and commitment to the film society, Graham, Nancy and Ross are life members of Maldon Golden Movies along with our patron, John Flaus.

Volunteers
Maldon Golden Movies is run entirely by volunteers and we welcome anyone interested in volunteering on movie nights. Please speak to Fiona Soames if you would like to be involved.
